The paid chat feature is an extra revenue tool that allows Free Followers to chat with VIPs.
How do I set this up?
VIPs must activate their Teaser Wall to enable the paid chat option. Opening a Teaser Wall allows AdmireMe users to follow VIPs for free, and models can upload free content as teasers for their paid wall.
Remember, a Teaser Wall is free to view and should be considered and treated like a social media page. Don't give too much away to deter a subscription.
To enable Free Followers just head to Settings. Once 'Enable Free Followers' is activated, VIPs can then tick the 'Turn on Paid Chat for Free Followers'.
It's now time to set a price. This is the price that Free Followers will be asked to pay when using the paid chat feature. The minimum price that you can charge is 0.50 (50p), and the cost must also be lower than your subscription price.
So, how is this different to a Paid Subscriber chat?
As a Paid Subscriber, this allows members exclusive access to everything behind the paywall, including messaging. The only thing Paid Subs need to pay extra for is any premium content they wish to purchase.
Can Paid Chat be turned off?
Of course! You can turn paid chat off for certain individuals if you wish. This can be done in the actual chat box message with the particular member.
You can also choose to 'Turn Off Paid Chat for VIPs I Follow Back', meaning if you choose to follow someone back, then paid chat will never be used on that account.
